There is a severe shortage of foster carers in Newcastle and the Hunter, we are at a crisis point.

This campaign leads people to reach out to a local agency that suits their needs and start the process of becoming a carer.

CatholicCare and Allambi Care are two leading local agencies working together, and in partnership with others, to lead a region-wide foster care campaign across the Hunter. This initiative is a call to arms for the local community to create awareness of the critical need for foster carers and homes for children in care. This collaborative partnership between different agencies is a positive solution, we know that when we all work together and harness community spirit and enthusiasm, we can achieve great things.

As a local community we can provide children in statutory out of home care a loving, safe home for life.
