ENGAGE is about Christian Pastors and Leaders, coming together across denominational, social, generational and ethnic barriers.

Since 2019, ENGAGE gatherings have brought Christian leaders together for relational connection, spiritual renewal, and collaborative kingdom conversation. The 2026 gathering continues this journey, inviting leaders into deeper relationship, renewed vision, and collective kingdom impact.

ENGAGE Leadership Gatherings 2019–2026

Introduction

Since 2019, ENGAGE gatherings have brought Christian leaders together for relational connection, spiritual renewal, and collaborative kingdom conversation. These events create a space where leaders from diverse ministry contexts gather to pray, discern God’s direction, and explore opportunities for shared mission across the region.

ENGAGE journey overview

ENGAGE 2019–2020  ENGAGE 2019/20 – Kingdomworks

The inaugural ENGAGE gatherings established the vision for unity and collaboration across the Body of Christ.

Guest speakers included:

  • Stephen Sutton — Middlesbrough, UK
  • Ian Shelton — Toowoomba
  • Rick Prosser — Newcastle

In 2020, teaching was provided by:

  • Andrew Youd — lecturer in systematic theology and Christian ethics, now Coordinator of Higher Education in Schools within a Faculty of Education.

Key emphasis

·       Establishing relational trust among leaders

  • Prayerful discernment and listening to God together
  • Encouragement across ministry contexts
  • Theological reflection informing practical leadership

These early gatherings laid a strong relational and theological foundation for future ENGAGE events.

ENGAGE 2022  ENGAGE 2022 Resources – Kingdomworks

Following pandemic disruption, ENGAGE resumed with renewed momentum.
